Water is Life! It is an absolute necessity to the survival of life, without which, existence would be impossible. For over 20 years, the people (361 residents) of Went’s Town drank drinking water from a stagnant creek that is unhygienic. The town has total of 361 residents- 161 children and 200 adults.
To reduce the impact of water borne diseases
To provide a clean and safe drinking water for the people of Went’s Town.
To construct a hand ‘dug’ pump in the area.
The health and social welfare of the children will greatly improve by the construction of a hand pump in the town. Additionally, children will be alleviated from the burden of walking long distances to fetch drinking water and focus more on their education.
