Goal 1
To create awareness and disseminate information about the plight of the people residing in Liberia, to Liberians in the Diaspora, philanthropic organizations and individuals around the world; and to also highlight the Foundation’s endeavor to develop and implement healthcare, clean water, sanitation, educational initiatives and programs that will empower our communities and improve the quality of life of our fellow Liberians.
Objective 1
Organize meetings, conference calls, solicit membership and develop inter-organizational partnerships and linkages, coordinate finances, set up office space and stage events to commemorate the launching of the Checago Bright Foundation, Inc by December of 2010.
Goal 2
Organize fundraising activities to mobilize material and financial resources to initiate the first phase of the organization’s programs i.e. (wells, pit-latrines construction, book donations and scholarship/grant award programs to underprivileged war affected children) in underprivileged communities in and around Monrovia, beginning with the Sinkor 12th Street Area.
Objective 2
Develop and maintain good partnerships through correspondence with Liberians, philanthropic organizations and individuals including Friends of Liberia in the USA and other developed countries to support our programs. Identify and recruit volunteers in the USA and Liberia, to help plan and manage the community development projects, keep records of war-affected youth and young adults requiring scholarships for academic enrollment in Monrovia and surrounding areas.
